Everyone fails. It is human to make mistakes. Several adult learners are hesitant to start school again because they feel a stigma of failure from education. The nervousness and anxiety that comes with “failing” from education in the past inhibits confidence and prevents a true effort of education a second, third or fourth time around. It is important to remind our students that one of the keys to success is failure. Honda put together this video in 2009 to remind us that everyone has off days, weeks and years. Share the video with your students and start a conversation about what success means to them.
