About FLC

The Florida Literacy Coalition promotes, supports and advocates the effective delivery of quality adult and family literacy services in the state of Florida.

Established in 1985, FLC is a statewide umbrella literacy organization and the host of Florida’s Literacy Resource Center.  FLC provides a range of services to support more than 300 adult education, literacy and family literacy providers throughout Florida.  Special emphasis is placed on assisting community-based literacy organizations with their training and program development needs.

The blog will be a source for literacy resources, news and events throughout the state for our literacy programs and advocates.  If you have something related to literacy you’d like to blog about, just email us – socialmedia@floridaliteracy.org – and tell us about it.
